Can adults/parents/guardians join the event?
Yes. We have a special parent/guardian track and those who wish to participate can purchase a ticket for $5. Parents/guardians can join the workout and stay for workshops that include topics such as talking to your teen about finances, health, body image, and other pressing topics.
What does a mentor do? How can I sign up?
If you are a professional woman who has achieved a level of success (as defined by being happy and content with your journey) you can join the event and get involved. You can stay for the entire event and help with the sessions and workshops, or you can join for the speed networking portion, which will require you to arrive around 12.15 p.m. and stay until about 1.30 p.m. Mentor tickets are a $10 donation and can be purchased here.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable nor are they transferable. If you have an issue and can no longer make it to the event, please reach out to Jen using the contact form and she will get back to you with a resolution.
What should I wear?
No matter how you are participating, we want you to feel comfortable and ready to get to work. Therefore, workout gear is absolutely acceptable - and encouraged! Please be sure you wear (or bring) sneakers for the boxing/workout portion of the event.
What should I bring?
A friend or parent. A good attitude. And an open mind. Don't worry about bringing anything else. Whatever you will need, we got you covered.
How do I get there?
The event location is WeWork in Northern Liberties. The address is 1010 North Hancock Street, Philadelphia PA. There is parking on the street (and usually very available on the weekends), but be careful to look for parking signs in case you end up in a two-hour limit zone. WeWork recommends parking on side streets such as North American Street, Front Street, Germantown, Poplar, and 2nd Street. Give yourself a bit of extra time to find parking and get to the venue. The WeWork space in located inside the Piazza.
